My favourite is SP Hosting ! It's free for english sites ! You can upgrade your account for $49.95 USD, one lifetime fee !
I'm very happy with it and they have very friendly people !

Welcome to FWT Forums Droopy.

I've taken a look at SP Hosting and must admit I am plesantly suprised by the packages that they offer. It's not that they offer anything that makes them stand out from the crowd as it were, but rather in their approach to listing features.

I'll admit that I don't spend the time looking at free hosts, but it is good to see a free host that actually states their bandwidth limit (and it is rather generous considering). It was also nice to see that they took features that would otherwise be listed in the small print and put them out in the open as features of the plan. I don't need to check the terms and conditions to check if I can use a particular "questionable" file type or topic for my site.

They have a nice clean design too, infact the only thing that didn't work was the tick image, but it didn't matter so much as I could read the rest of the plans. Looking at the plans on offer I've come to the conclusion that you can not upload via FTP, is that a correct assumption? If so then it could put off some people who are used to using FTP, as it is the quickest way of transferring files from your computer to the server.

Yeah, maybe you have a point there but I don't have a problem uploading my files with their Express Uploader or with the Standard Uploader. I think it's even easier...

Hey Droopy,

I take it that is your site correct?

The reason I ask is because the host is called SPHosting and Your Web Design site is called SPdesign...??

No, actually that was a major coincidence. I was searching for a free host and all of a sudden I found SP Hosting. I thought that would give a nice URL...I have nothing to do with SP Hosting, they are in Australia and I'm in Belgium .
