I've posted before on cPanel problems, but it seems to be getting worse trying to get onto my control panel and, now, upload files.

My site will be up but I can't get into the control panel (cPanelX).

Or, as now, both my site and my control panel are up and the control panel works fine but I can't upload to the site because it's telling me that permission is denied to public_html or there is no host connection.

According to the site monitor I started running yesterday my site has had 100% uptime from then till now.

It's nothing basic like wrong password as I've checked all that sort of stuff and re-booted, with no effect.

Server load is low so that's not the problem.

Any ideas on where I should start looking for problems?

Are these signs of some sort of problem with my host?

I seem to have sorted it out.

Problem seems to have been with unavailability of RPC server / time synchronization, apparently at my end.

Alas, just sorted out one problem.

I'm still getting stupid problems in getting into control panels, not being able to get onto my sites and so on.

Maybe I'll just give up running my sites and devote the rest of my life to trying to find out why they don't want to talk to me.
