Well, I'm not exactly starting my website soon, but I just want to look for a decent web host now. Here are my requirements:

+ At least 2GB Space
+ 80GB Bandwidth
+ PHP
+ $5.00/Month

P.S I am just compiling a list. I will update this post regularly with all the host I think are acceptable.

Here are the hosts I've found:
NevaCious
I've found it on Freewebspace.net Forum. They had this offer to someone else.

I'm curious so have to ask, why wouldn't you be hosting yourself? I'm assuming from your signature that you are affiliated with DreamHost.

$5 /month for 2GB/80GB plus free domain registration and renewals? Good luck on that search.

Scott

I said that I'm just compiling a list. Anyway, I have already found one. And it's a bit extra to use DreamHost, since I don't need that much space and Bandwidth. And anyway, I used them before. They were quite good but my parents refused to sponsor me $7.95 per month now. They gave me a limit of $5.00 per month.

Don't go for lots of space and bandwidth, you'll never need it all if it's a project you are just starting. Go for reliability and most of all customer support. What's the point in loads of features when you can't get hold of anyone?

Good luck

cheap and good? Those too words simply do not go together. You need to choose one or the other.
As Andrew said, take a seconed look at your project, I can almost guruntee you will not need anywhere near the amount of space and bandwidth you're looking for. Find a host that will offer you a reasonable amount of both.

And I'm curious, why wouldn't you go witth the host that your advertising for in your signature? They're good enough to advertise but not good enough to use?

Dont just go looking for massive amounts of bandwidth.. if you can get that much for $5 its probably a scam or no support at all and oversold

As I have said, I don't have the budget of $7.95, that's why I am not using DreamHost. Anyway, I have already found a host. www.siteground.com offers all I need, and I have read good reviews about them too. I have also tried out their live support. They replied to all my questions within minutes. So if a moderator wants to lock up this thread, please do so.

The price your are willing to pay for the features you require will not allow you to sign up with company that is reliable enough. There are some Budget hosts who provide more banwidth and space however there are a lot who underbig the market. I can recommend you to increase your budget up to $10/monthly.

Regards

Well, I cannot increase my budget since, I have said MANY times, my budget is controlled by my parents, and the limit is $5. Anyway, I have already found a good host. I have checked SiteGround. All my questions were answered within minutes, so their support is good enough. I have read good reviews about them on a lot of websites, which mostly proves that their server is also pretty reliable.
