If you register a domain with a company other than your webhost, how do you get email addresses for that domain?

I'm using 1and1.com as my webhost but when I go to create a domain through their interface, I have to pick an existing domain which shows the ones i've registered through them. So, if I register a new domain through somewhere like GoDaddy, what to do?

Thanks.

Simply point the nameservers for your new domain, no matter where it's registered, to 1&1. It's as simple as that. 1&1 should be able to provide you with the nameservers you will use.
