I use Ipswitch Pro, once in a great awhile I will also receive an error message also. Usually for me it's the server or hoster that is down for a few minutes, but back up running again in short time.
You mentioned you have another account which is working just fine. Are the settings the same for both accounts, such as id name, password, etc.? It could be just a glitch too, have you tried it again recently?
