Hey, I've visited Webmaster-Talk for a while, and i recently joined because you guys seem to know what you are talking about.

I am currently looking for a *free* host that meets these requirements:

50 MB or MORE (preferrably more)
pHp/ mysQL
Ftp uploading
NO pop-up ads

Is this POSSIBLE? I am currently using http://lycos.co.uk and they meet every requirement, and they are extremely easy to use, but their server is not as stable as i would like it to be, and it is quite slow at times.

The reason i need this host is to host forums... much like these...
currently located at: http://members.lycos.co.uk/bforums/index.php

This is why i cannot have a pop-up on every page... it would just get too frustrating.

Any ideas?

Hi jRock,

I always recommend using a remotely hosted board for boards that get less than 20 posts a day. Though hosting a forum on a paid host is always a good idea, it is never (and I repeat, never) a good idea to stick a board on a free host. They are just too unreliable, far less reliable than remote hosts.
