You can use cPanel for this purpose.

Hi only1yoni,

Thanks for your help - however the queue you mentioned is the server incoming queue...if cpanel email accounts are setup then the email goes straight into their accounts and wont be in that queue at all... I'm trying to find the location of email that has not be downloaded by the user yet, undownloaded mail is what im after which is different to undelivered mail.

Many thanks

I assume you need to work with your web hosting service provider on this issue

In some case that could be separated server for the emails. I believe only your particular web hosting provider will be able to assist you on it

undownloaded emails are stored under # /home/cpanel-username/mail/domain.com/email-accounts.

Other hosts may very but I've seen this set up on Bluehost, Hostmonster and Fast Domain. Being as all 3 are the same company, that's not unexpected. I would think most shared hosts would have a similar set up.

Hello,

If you are on shared server, then it is best for you to contact your host.

That is good idea so far. Just not every web host want to care about that and I believe that was the only reason OP created the thread in here

In cPanel, every mails will be available in the Mail area which allows you to manage all aspects of your e-mail, from adding new accounts, setting spam filters and managing mailing lists.
