Hey all,

Just wondering what you thought about ByetHost? More importantly their paid shared hosting for roughly $35/year. This comes with a free .com domain as well which is why I may be choosing them as my host.

So first, how's ByetHost in general?

Secondly, what are the pros and cons to getting a host with a domain included (not a sub domain, an actual domain) opposed to registering it somewhere like GoDaddy first?

Thanks!

I would go with HostGator or GoDaddy, it's only $100 a year and you are with a host you know you can trust...

That is useful to have domain name and web soting from the diffrent places. As for the web hosting company you are asking about I believe you need google for the reviews

I always say: If you like company give a try and move in amonth or during moneyback guarantee period if you dislike them

Hi,
I don't think Byethost provide money back guarantee. There are many other cheap but reputable web hosts around that provide at least 30 days money back guarantee.

You have to read the TOS carefully. If you are so much interested you can have a try. But I could find some points regarding the free domain, have a look.
Quote:
Free domain names which are included with Paid Hosting accounts are the property of Byet Internet. Byet will always retain ownership of free domain names we register. If requested, Byet will allow the 'transfer' any free domains to an alternative hosting provider if a transfer administration fee is paid, which amounts to $29.99.
I suggest you to register the domain with a reputable domain registrar like Enom or Godaddy as some other members suggested.

Well, the host will not disappear, that's the major guarantee. However, I wouldn't go with Godaddy, server performance, and even uptime, are disappointing.

I think there are no perfect hosting service.
We only try to find that match with our need and money.
However paid hosting will be better than free hosting.

They are providing free hosting with vistapanel. In free hosting there is no reliability & stability as well as no support so you are always in dilemma. Hence, considering these factors better to go with paid hosting.

Byehost is providing free web hosting & this is the major drew back. Paid hosting is good in comparison of free hosting.
