Resell package with free domain name?

Hello
Is the norm for the WEB hosting reseller account to have free domain name included? I have been looking at different reseller hosters and find that only espinda.com has this as option. I was wondering if that is commonplace for the reseller account providers if not why? I think that is good thing

I've seen it elsewhere as a perk. Just make sure that the host offers all the other features you would need. I like Hostgator for reselling, but Hostek is really good as well (and they're small so you get great support). You want to make sure you have good scripting support (Fantastico) and Shared SSL, among other things.

I don't know if it's the norm or not, but make sure that whoever you get your domain name from is ICANN registered.

I suppose that is some kind of the norm for the reseller account. Reseller accounts allow you you start reselling web hosting services with your hands down

No it seems there is no such norm to give a free domain with a reseller package. That is a marketing plan depending on various hosts. Some give free domain with normal shared hosting also. Only thing you need to be careful is that you should check whether the domain is registered under your name .

what you guys think of godaddy reseller account ... I didnt find it intresting but hosting is cheaper as compared to other ..

As far as domain registration is concerned godaddy has a great reputation. But I have not heard much good about them regarding hosting. This is based on reviews I have seen, I don't have any experience with them.

Hi everyone! I am new to the site. I am looking into purchasing web hosting for reselling. I am an engineer and have had web developing experience in the distant past. I have degrees and certificates ranging from E-business management to Database Management (Oracle), and Information Security. As stated, I have developed websites in the past but have never been a Web Master. Thus, my question is, are hosting services difficult to manage? Do you need to be a Web Master to do it?

We provide free domains to our hosting clients that go for the annual registration of the hosting plan.
Can't say whether it's a norm or not, but it still may be an eye candy for some beginners who come to your site.

That could be even more depending on the company. In any case you get what you pay for.This free domain name as rule marketing trick used to attract new customers.
