Im BLUEHOST.COM all the way! Never had a single problem in 3 yrs.

I am using Powweb and Lunarpages. Both are pretty good.

I have accounts with both Bluehost and Hostgator. Bluehost is fine, hostgator I will not renew, I feel. I will probably move to Hostmonster

Funny, so far, my decision would go the other way around. I was hoping for more "oomph" from Bluehost/Hostmonster, but the applications I tested are slower. The server's specifications are indeed significantly better than HG's, but there's perhaps more load placed on it.

1 and 1. (Two accounts) No major problems. One site went down a couple of weeks ago. I called support, they quickly answered, and the site was back up before the call was over. Maybe coincidence, but it seemed impressive.

HostGator is cheap and reliable. We currently utilize discountasp for shared environments and server intellect for dedicated.

What dou you think about www.globat.com?

Can I find something like that with a better price?

I've been with LunarPages for several years, hosted up to 200 domains on the one shared account and never had any flack from them. I've heard stories about being slapped from pretty much ALL major hosting companies. Supposedly, though, HostGator has the reputation for being more Internet Marketing friendly. Don't be afraid of LunaraPages.

All hosting companies have CPU and memory restrictions. Some even have Inodes limit. And it it totally normal assuming the fact it is a shared hosting account. You simply cannot expect to get 100% of the server's cpu and ram for just 3.95/mo, right?
If you don't want limitations - go for a dedicated server. (of course there is still a limit - each server has a cpu and memory that are not unlimited)

i have two hosting account , one at godaddy, which is reliable , but a bit slow.
and the other is on justhost which is more faster , no storage limit, no traffic limit, but i had a few downtimes using it.

I am using hostgator, more especially for their linux and unix hosting. Better security than windows hosting. No problems with them so far.

i use Hostease for a long time ,it is cheaper but banausic

hehe,i do it now !!

I will transfer to hostgator as soon I get my refund from kvchosting server always down.

For shared hosting I use Godaddy. Good for middle size forums which you can't host in a normal shared hosting package or can't afford a VPS.
