Hostgator --- Best host yet.

Ive got a shared plan with HG and have for a while (i think im on the 6th month now..) great price, great uptime, amazing support, overall A++ - I def. reccomend them to anyone.

I keep considering HG, but i hate how their prices on the home page are false... it really seems deceptive to me and it puts me off.

I have a few shared account with HostGator as well as a reseller acccount. Their servers are excellent but the real differentiating feature is their support, which is much much better than a lot of hosts out there.

Thanks for sharing your experience mate. Why are you searching for bad reviews if you are really happy with them. Always hosting experiences are some what personal and if you are satisfied with them please stick with them.

I use Hostgator too, as well as SEOHosting. Both very good services. I know SEOHosting has a bad reputation but I believe that's partially due to a well planned marketing campaign by its competitors. Not saying it hasn't had issues, but those issues have mostly been resolved.

I have had them for a few months now and I would they have great customer service no matter what time of day but lately they have been having alot of server errors causing my site to be offline alot.

Depends on your web site. Maybe your web site crashed whole server, maybe shared web hosting is not what you are comfortable with...
Put your web site on the hostracker monitoring and you will get real digits for your web site

a lot of hosting company use this they show you the price that is less so if you buy a plan for one hole year right out you get it at a cheaper price eg work out per mouth.

but you should test a hosting company first before you got ahead and get a full year plan. just to make sure they are right for you

but hostgator has to be one of the best company out there they have great support and are very fast at fixing problems

I have been debating going to HG for a few months now,a reseller package..the price is ok i guess,and i keep hearing the support is great,but still weary.I dont want to have to contact support,if i do that means there is a issue with the servers,correct?

I have zero probs with HG, except that sometimes they don't allow 777 file permissions.. sometimes they do. It's a bit mystic.

The only problem I have with them is that they don't allow the 777 file permissions, I've needed this to run quite a few scripts, which I'm not able to run. Other than that, they've been fantastic. I've had them for a year now, and my site hasn't been offline once. (no lie.)

Usually, yes, although you might have to contact them to handle issues that you can't or don't know how to handle yourself. Support is often enough needed a few times when you're a new customer, as some things might be a bit different compared to the provider you're coming from.
