I guess in a way Filezilla is the same as most web hosts, they're the best you can get until you encounter a problem and need some help.

I noticed someone was linking an image from my blog to the filezilla forum so I went and had a look. One of the users was questioning what a moderator was saying and he responded with "are you calling me a liar?" which seemed a bit odd. I thought it was just an immature teenage mod but maybe not from what you say.

The first ftp program I have used was filezilla and still do to this day, not that I have much experience. )

In my opinion, filezilla is the best free FTP client. It is free and open source FTP client for windows. It offers a paned, side-by-side interface in which you can drag-and-drop files to and from a specified server. Timeout detection and SSL secured connections are advanced features of it.

i tend to use filezilla as well as i use this one if i move to mac Liunx and windows i move about os a lot of each different computer

but i do have to say i like coreftp for windows

filezilla client. . . I'm using that and its good. Except for the hosting. lol

It can be used also instead of "Windows Explorer" and had allot of other functions!

I am going to have to say that the best free one is SmartFTp it is a great program and is completely free for personal use.

Do you have the free version? Cause the full version has a built in file editor which is nice. I use filezilla but no one has said the filemanager in cpanel?!
