I have seen that some web hosting companies (say, MarbleHost.com) provides free bonuses for their clients.
What do you feel about that? Are they tru to life?
Do you trust them?

Many WHC offer free stuff with plans.

Some of them are useless and clients wouldn't use them but some are good and customer beneficial.

Free billing scripts for resellers is a good idea.

Free billing software goes in all the reselleing plans I guess, I personally prefer ClientExec Billing System, it's offered in Resellerpanel.com and MMhosting.com reseller deals. It easier to set up and configure, plus much cheaper.

Not all reseller plans come with free billing software, although discounts are often included.

Clientexec is also my favourite billing system - modernbill is the best for really large hosts with a whole range of products and addon features, but clientexec is better for smaller hosts with fewer plans because it is just nice and simple to set up and very easy to use.

MarbleHost.com free bonuses mean Free domain name for life, Preinstalled scripts and WebsiteBuilder. But these features are only for their clients. Sounds not bad.

How much do shared package plans from MarbleHost.com cost?
If all these free binuses are only for their clients, they have to know the price on the package plan.

Agree with fastreplies here. That is not something amazing and it is not something destinctive for the web hosting company. Just loyalty for the customers.

Honestly, with the market the way it is, more power to them.

The free domain might be okay but usually when i see something like that, it requires a yearly setup which most people should avoid the first few months anyway.

MarbleHost.com provides their services starting at $6.66 per month. Rather cheap IMO.
Anyway as I know the cheapest domain registration has started at $8.95. Am I right?

There are definitely cheaper options out there. Say Netfirms, at $6. Not that price is everything.

More of the larger firms have large reseller accounts from Enom and get pretty good rates because they buy in bulk.

AFAIK Netfirms is an accredited registrar though, not an Enom reseller. Further, a .com domain costs any registrar $6.42 in fees they have to pay to Verisign. So, at that price level Netfirms is actually losing money.

But as I've realized MarbleHost.com provides a domain registration freely. It's a bonus for their clients.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

The "free domains" usually have to be paid once the customer decides to change hosts. And the fee tends to be (relatively) high, like $20.

But it is only in case the client decides to change the host.

Buddy, these are standard features. Why are you trying to promote marblehost? I can see the same attempt in every forum. What a shame!

Free domain for life - Yeah, as long as you host with them! Thats what every other host offer!!
Preinstalled scripts?? Every cpanel host offers fantastico script installer.

Sounds very bad!
