Which Host do you recommend ? Pls.

Hi,

Well I have researched and narrowed down to these three:

Hostony, http://www.hostony.com/
Dot5hosting, www.Dot5hosting.com
IPSHosting, www.ipshosting.com
Hostrocket, www.hostrocket.com

I will be using the host mainly to run a webboard (Invision board) and hence main concerns are compatabililty of software with host & bandwidth, not so much webspace. Also MySQL reliability.

Which one of these 3 are best in terms of reliability & reputation and have actually been around and impressed?

im hosted by www.kdawebservices.com and theyre very good - theyre based in the UK though

not sure if thats a problem with you

I've been with Hostrocket for nearly 2 years and I've found them to be usually excellent. Although there have been some problems, they are consistantly reliable and the support is excellent.

You might want to check with them about your board, though. They do have rules about how many symiltaneous MySQL connections you can have at once (15 I think) so if you have a very popular board they may ask you to go sem-dedicated (best to post a message at their forums and ask if you are unsure).
