fitnfree
We rejected your link not because your site is slow but because of your description
Our Submission Guideline says:
do not use - Title and Description as a Keywords Rubbish Dump
and now take a look at what you submitted...
Least we can do for your site visitors is to make you to respect them
by demanding from you site description and not just a few garbage
keyword your SEO told you to use.

1) Please don't double post - that's annoying.
2) More importantly, I've checked out the site, fitnessandfreebies.com and I've got no idea what you're talking about! Keywords dump?! What? The description and keywords are relevant. The site doesn't take that long to load either - are you on dial up or something!
Also, please get rid of those self promo links or a Moderator will.

whym
What do you call this? Go to initial post and take a look.
Description:
Weightloss, health, fitness, diet tips, support, advice, articles, recipes, nutrition, freebies, e-books and more. Dedicated to your health!
I call it 'Garbage'. This is not your normal description, this is keyword puke
and if you can't see that then I feel sorry for you.
Besides, where is it says that we obliged to index every site? We are offering
free review and indexing and all we ask in exchange is to read and follow our
guidelines. How is difficult that can be?
We never went to see this site and we have no idea about technical qualities
of this site, we just rejected it because our Guidelines were ignored. To us it
just one of 400 – 600 per day spam submissions we reject.
Smart person instead of ranting here would go back and (as we suggested in
our rejection email) re-submit that site after READING our Guidelines and,
I can assure you, most definitely world be added to our Index.

The keywords are related to the site.
You say that you do not even look at their site but then you accuse them of slow loading times?!

I think if I saw a description comprising a list of comma delimittered keywords I might reject the submission too. It might be ok to put that kind of thing in the keywords box (if there is one) but not the description.

Submissions are normally rejected because:
- Our Submission Guidelines has been ignored by submitter.
- We may perhaps removed your submission accidentally.
- The link has no informational value what so ever
- or
Please keep in mind, we are making snapshot of your Index Page and if........
and then:
You are more than welcome to try again, but this time please read and follow
our Guidelines and meet our Terms and Requirements.
Now. This is generic email sent to more than 1 million rejected submitters in
the past 6 years and if you whym think we have time or desire to visit every
rejected site then you're dreaming.
After prescreening only every 5 of 100 sites moved to review bin and even then
there is no guarantee they will be accepted. Only after our Editors make visit to one
of selected for review sites, decision will be made to add or not to add.
And finally, here is description for that site:
This site is dedicated to your health! Provides Information on Weightloss and
weight related issues and offers dietary advice, e-books and more
So whym, take it to your head that this is not about site per say, this is about
request for review in the format it's submitted

I can see your point of view, but the generic email is rude and mean - you offhandly dismiss all sites that are submitted and you say things about sites, even though you haven't visited them and are judging from the submission.
That's prejudice

No, you can’t see it whym because you continue defending ignorant morons and blaming us
for rejecting spam submissions.
We don’t have to accept nor visit any site at all because our obligations to our site visitors and
not to billions of sites owners. It is our right to publish sites in our directory submitted by the
site owners who understand that they are getting something for nothing and in return respect
our requirements.
Everything other than that for us is spam and we don’t have to be nice to spammers and
if you or anybody else has problems with that then you and others most likely are one of them

fastreplies, I have absolutely NO interest in your directory. My site does quite well w/o you and I'm more than happy to keep it that way. I wouldn't want to be associated in any way with the likes of you.

And thanks for proving my point as to how rude you are.
whym -- thanks so much. I sincerely appreciate your efforts on my behalf more than I know how to say (but I can give talkupation! ).
Now, I think this guy/gal is, from here on, not worthy of wasting time on.

Telling to somebody HONESTLY, in their face that they are wrong is not being RUDE.
Telling to somebody “No, you can’t see it” based on factual statement they made is not being RUDE
Telling you that you are Ignorant SPAMMER is not being RUDE but to state undeniable fact, fact based on your own submission.
Fact
Your own site Description is SPAM by any standard and
Fact
Your failure to read and follow our Guidelines recommendations made you an ignorant thus making you an Ignorant SPAMMER
And this is not only what I am saying but also others in this Forum told you, including whim (thank you whim) that Description in your Submission is SPAM
Now. You want to talk about RUDE? Sure lets go. It was rude for you to made uninvited visit to our site, disregard our rules and then puke all over it and in faces of our Staff and Editors with your so-called “site description” and then your post in this Forum.
Now, you are RUDE and not us

A fact is by definition something that is completely true and can be proved as true.
You say:
Quote:
Fact
Your own site Description is SPAM by any standard
|
No I wouldn't say the description was necessarily "spammy". Possibly inappropriate as a description, but not spammy.
Quote:
Fact
Your failure to read and follow our Guidelines recommendations made you an ignorant thus making you an Ignorant SPAMMER
|
I often fail to read guidelines/terms of service if I'm in a hurry - does that make me an "ignorant spammer". I doubt it. Only yesterday I banned a real spammer who was dropping links everywhere and being rude to people including myself - he was a spammer, fitnfree isn't.
Neither of your "facts" are correct - they're opinions at best, or they're just downright incorrect.
Your personal insults certainly don't help show that you're not rude, and if it weren't for people visiting your site, you wouldn't have a job.

As Red_Spider said, it is just a cut and paste reply...who knows why it was rejected. One of their reasons is "We may perhaps removed your submission accidentally". Thay sound like dumb asses to me. Forget about it and focus on more important things.

whym, you just lower yourself to fitnfree level
You wouldn’t dare to submit (and pay $299) fitnfree garbage to Yahoo or DMOZ knowing in advance your submission will be rejected, then what makes you to believe you can dump on us the same garbage?

That is my friend full plagued spam appropriate for Frankenstein vocabulary or for Garage Sale flyer and even then only maybe.
Many years ago Yahoo, DMOZ, and others set standard for description and this day every competent Webmaster or SEO know what they are and follow them. That is FACT.

You don’t have to be genius to differentiate between two, to find which one is spam.

By your act, yes it defines you as being an IGNORANT. If you in hurry then come back later when you have more time and do what is right without any excuses. But if you submitted something that makes sense to Google crawler only and not to the others, then you are by all the means SPAMMER thus making you IGNORANT SPAMMER
These are the Facts
When you’re visiting places, you are playing by the rules, which must be followed, and if you are not prepared to play by the rules then you should leave. This forum has rules that fitnfree wouldn't dare to violate, so, who gave fitnfree right to violate our rules?
fitnfree is not a victim but a felon who thought he would gate away with murder using you as his accomplices.
People; stop giving her shoulder to cry. Stop denying the obvious and please use your common sense. Stop being played like accordion by manipulative perpetrator.

Well now see, here is an explanation that is to the point, professional and actually helps me. I had no idea using commas in a description was a no-no, so thank you, gringo, for the heads up.
I'm human! I made an error! Tar and feather me, hang me up on a noose! Condemn me. I've now gone from making an honest mistake to being a felon and never even left my laptop.
Surely that must make history of some sort.
