I'd advice you to look into infovilesilencer and directorycritic's Free directory lists, otherwise there are zillion of free directories, every domain with phpld script calls it a directory lol

Well yes i would agree that there are a lot of free directories and tools available for your to find a lot of them however it is always good to find one and understand a resource before you start submitting your sites to them.

My personal experience has always taught me to understand the resource first and then submit your site. By understanding a resource i mean understand the Pro's & Con's

Though you are sure of the white hat techniques or would say the ethical techniques to be followed for your sites improvement however other’s might be using some black hat technique which can harm your sites goodwill rather than enhancing it.

What say ?

Hi there,

there are zillions of free directories out there, anybody can buy a script for that, but beware that by submitting into a large number of low quality ones, your SEO ranking may suffer. I advise you to submit to DMOZ as its content is reused by so many directories like google e.g. Also, try to find directories related to your subject/activity and do your research about their quality before submitting to any of these directories, it could be time consuming but at least you'll get the rewards of better SERPs

A good research tool is necessary. You may try one such tool linked to below. DMOZ is a good one but very sloooooow in accepting links. However there are hundreds of good free directories out there those are quick, direct link, non-reciprocal and visible to google.

There are many directories , you can find a list of free directories and submit to all of them, some may approve fast , some may not , but if you have submitted correctly you will still get approved.

I'd keep an eye on keyword-pages.com although the submissions page is down right now in order to get caught up on some changes and add listings. The directory offers alot of benifits for the sites listed, so I would put this one on my list for future reference.
