Instead of paying $300 for Yahoo, would I be better off paying for a listing in a second-tier directory?

Some directories I'm considering:

v7n Directory (solid long term directory - well respected)
Uncover the web
Tygo
HotvsNot
SevenSeek

Are there other good paid directories I'm missing? For now I'm only considering directories with one-time listing fees instead of annual recurring charges. I appreciate any advice, thanks!

MSN offers small business directory listings for about 50.00.
Might be worth considering.

Skaffe.com is worth it, I wouldn't waste my money with Joeant

Yea they were banned awhile ago... Guess they manipulated PageRank too quickly by purchasing too many High PR links on large networks.
