Best free directory?

What are some of the best, free directories to list a hosting company in? Not sure where to begin there.

Also, what do I need to know when listing my site?

They have Web Hosting and Domains Category

I submitted my site, took a few tries as the numbers to verify if you're human were really hard to read and doesn't give you a refresh option.

Try this list: www.vmoptions.com/directory-list.php. It has a long list of free web directories. Just choose the ones with high PR.

Here are some points to look for free directory.

1) It should be index able.

2) The categories in directory should be splitted nicely into sub categories.

3) The page where your link is present must not contain more than 30 links.

I think these are the points for ideal directory.

I used those directories in the list, they are SEO friendly directories.
