My interaction with the developer was highly unprofessional. Initially, he tasked me with obtaining the necessary API from the vendor to commence work. Despite agreeing, I confessed my lack of experience and requested specific questions to ask, but he offered no assistance. Consequently, I reached out to the vendor, which took about three months to yield a response. During this time, I proposed that the developer start frontend development while awaiting the API, but he adamantly refused, insisting on waiting. Unwilling to proceed with a partially completed project, I objected, reminding him of our agreement's terms. Despite this, I made a $200 upfront payment in good faith, understanding it would be refunded if the work remained incomplete. When I informed the developer that the API was unavailable, I requested project cancellation. However, he claimed to have begun work and demanded payment for incomplete work, a clear breach of contract. Additionally, he insisted I provide him with a favorable review on Freelancer, which I reluctantly agreed to. Faced with his unreasonable demands, I escalated the matter to Freelancer for resolution. This experience has shown me that many developers fail to deliver satisfactory work independently, highlighting the importance of engaging through an agent for better accountability.

Excellent blockchain developer. Valerii delivered the project in half of the agreed time and fulfilled the expectations fully. It's the third project I worked with him on.
