Well, google is of the search engine which provides more traffic than any other search engine or any source. Discussion forums and RSS submission sites are also the most effectve source of traffic other than google.
I love viral marketing. Backlinks and traffic have historically done better for me than ppc...or at least the conversion rates seem to be better for me so I now own two sites that are specifically for viral scripts and traffic purchasing. If I relied totally on PPC I would not be turning that great of a profit - or maybe I need to figure out how to play that game a little better...oh well....my method seems to be working.
I get nice responses from webmaster-talk, thank you folks.
My major traffic response is from yahoo, google for some reason still not considerate to provide some good traffic. I left it to take its time to bring the good time.

For me, obviously Google, the most preferred search engine is the best source of traffic for my site and secondary I think forums are also helps a lot to divert traffic to my sites.
