Hi to all

I have seen many people and firms offering same kinds of services and give big promises for better ranking. But according to me , this works previously not now. Now seo became more complex and each day new methods are being found to increase back links..

No search engine submission is never a good idea. If you "submit" your site to Google, you'll be waiting months to get listed.

Best thing to do is get backlinks.

I think if you have time do it.because overall its not harm to your site but if you can submit to Demos and get approve from them, then its more valuable

Certainly no harm in doing it manually. ( I still do for all my new sites )

However to get "indexed" quicker, Just get backlinks.
Google / Bing etc will pick it up just as quick.

The purpose of search engine submission is to index your site in search engine so i think there are a lot of other best ways to index your site like analytic submission if you use analytic submission your site will be indexed in one hour.

No need to submit to search engine especially the topest SEs like Google, Bing , Yahoo and ask.. Their spiders are very brilliant and will catch the site withing short period.. To make it easy and earlier make proper SEO and can not assure that the submission will help for immediate cache....

yeah its true, submission still works guys though you just have find ways and other resources like analytic to index your site in a matter of time. so still do submissions for better indexing.

for me it still works! though we just have to be patient because it takes time see the result. google may still indexing it before searches and results were seen.

Well, yes, but getting ONE link on a URL that is already being crawled and indexed will get crawlers to your URLs much more effectively.

"Submitting" to search systems was, and still is, only necessary for ones that do NOT have their own means of locating URLs to be listed.

In the very early days of Google, even before it became Google, submitting the root URLs of websites helped seed their database with "starting points" for crawling of the URLs that made up a particular site.
