Yahoo Using Bing.com's Search Engine??

I heard that Yahoo has or is going to join with MSN ... and are going to start using bing.com for there search results...

I have two question's can anyone verify this or is it just a rumor?

And if this is true.... Great! Does this mean no more having to submit your site to yahoo's directory just to be listed in there search results?

No both are not using sing SE bots I things.. only my thoughts.. has to refer the technical detail for it

As per my knowledge i heard about that news but still it is not a confirm. According to reports, Microsoft's Bill Gates and Yahoo's Terry Semel may be discussing a merger. A combination would be a much tougher competitor to Google
Number of report say that Microsoft and Yahoo! will announce a deal its not confirm. wherein Microsoft's Bing will become the new Yahoo! search engine and Yahoo! will sell ads against those search results on its site.

And, You should optimize for Bing.com - Yahoo/Bing will have a search market share of at least 15% (that's the current market share of MSN and Yahoo combined - some statistics show a much higher market share).

Wow, is that true??? I haven't heard of that news yet. But if that's true, I don't think google would be very happy to hear that. lol

It is not confirm yet that yahoo uses BING search engine result. in my opinion it is only humor,

1. It is an agreement (late July, 2009), not a rumor.

2. Now, both approval of regulatory authorities and implementation of the agrrement take a lot of time :

They do agreement on advertising sharing,

Yahoo and Bing both use their differ algorithm...

Not really a fan of bing, jumped all over it the moment it launched..still can't get more than ten listing per site on their search despite sitemaps and all that other jazz..

If this deal goes through, Yahoo is going to use Bing's serps. But Bing will use yahoo's searching technology. So it will be a mixed result.

I think they deal for advertising, haven't knowledge about SERP and Tech sharing,

If they will do such agreement then its not good news for google
