Can Bing beat Google?

Bing is now on...and getting better day by day...
It has got some very nice innovations like Image Search without pagination, Video Mouse hover preview, Local intelligency, Categoried search, Instant Answers etc which is not present in google.

But how long will bing take to beat google?

I don't think it will ever beat Google in my opinion. Google's popularity is ever expanding and I don't think will ever stop.

Bing seems to be right below Google though, so I think Bing will dominate the #2 spot.

I would still focus SEO on Google, but keep Bing in mind with Keyword Optimization and On-Page Optimization.

Well, Bing has certainly gotten a huge amount of advertising money thrown its way, but I am still skeptical it will be able to take over Google. MSN has needed a face lift for some time, so Bing is welcomed. It's going to take time and a lot of word of mouth for people to switch from Google, though.

I think Bing has the potential to beat Google, it's just a matter of time. Google is still the best at the moment though.

Not a chance will bing ever beat google, I hope they do well though, it would be nice to see another competative search engine come onto the scene, as everything is so geared towards google

well I guess no not a chance cause Google is already twenty years old and Bing is two years old compare it to age. But that depends if microsoft will buy or take over google but I guess that will not happened.

Everything is Possible only if you determinant and willing to do extra ordinary struggle in order to achieve your goal.

Still For Bing to overcome Google Won't be that Easy. Yahoo MSN came before Google still they could not Beat Him then For Bing...Well Chances are little less.

Bing is a pretty good search engine. our library has implemented it for search and still has google as home page. Oh yah.. I can't say I like any of the search engines but I can say i do like google to a point. In the world of search engines is Pay pay pay pay pay.

It's impossible to say at this point. Bing does look promising, but I doubt I would switch over since I have all my services loaded with google... email, homepage, documents, photos, calendar...

It all depends on how well Microsoft markets Bing. If they can market it really well then they have a chance, and they do have the money for it.

It's not a big deal for me if bing beats the google . As far these two engines can help me for my site.

Nothing can be said about future, Google has also beaten the some top search engines to be on the top. Most innovative and most user friendly search engines will rule the world, this is the time of Google but it does not mean that Google will remain on the top forever.

I don't think it can beat Google. Google is just to large a Bing has a long way to go if they think they can beat Google.
