Can Bing beat Google?

I really like bing side information bar, from a tech stand point its a lot better then google, but lets see how long it takes before google come up with something new

Judged based on the current siutation and also the history, it doesn't seem possible in a short period of time.

But no one knows how it gonne be in the futhure!

Well, some may say its impossible, but personally there's nothing impossible about that. I've heard that 1 in 3 google users preferred bing but don't know if that's true. hehe
Google is definitely one search engine that is hard to beat on the number 1 spot, but there's still a possibility, right. Anyway, I think overall it would benefit the users since search engines will keep on improving there features.lol

Bing is good and fast SE,
Its very difficult to beat Great G but Bing will give huge fight to Google...

IMO, It can't because Google is trusted by many. And we all know that this is the no.1 SE's nowadays.

I look at it like this...I use operators when I search....all of the se's produce about the same results.., but I'm a bit of a google dork.... but I don't see MS passing Google. And hotmail absolutely sucks.. so the gazillion more people that have gmail, why use bing?

I wish someone could answer your question. Everybody here can only guess or predict. At this moment, I don't see that happen in the coming future. Wish Bing good luck.

Too early to say but it takes more more time to be "just like" Google, but don't think it can beat Google.

I don't think it will even beat google in terms of usage and popularity, definitely not for the next couple of years to come. Usability wise, it's almost at the same level with google but it will require more than that to change the trend.

Bing is decades behind Google. Google created a BIG monopoly which cannot be broken. Nowadays, Internet = Google !

I have noticed Bing had made big progress in indexing sites more accurate than Google recently. It is hard to say who would be the winner though Google is still so powerful today, IMO. Let's look and see the result.

If they have advertising program similar like adwords and adsense, then it would make a whole lot of difference. Oh yeah, another thing. Page Ranking system.

I think it will take forever before Bing can tumble down Google. Not even close to Yahoo.
