A Question about Yahoo SEO PROs pls answer me

Hi all

I`ve been in SEO biz a few years ago 2005 and I was pretty good I guess.I`ve done complete SEO for 4 months for a real estate company and I brought it in page 1-3 in yahoo and 1-3 in msn for highly competitive keywords and top 100 in google with page rank 3(achieved for three months) but I didn`t get my 10 000 dolars(that was the deal) so I went mad and I quit SEO biz at all.One month ago I started a website again and today it`s on 1st page in yahoo for `electronic music download` among 218,000,000 pages and free electronic music downloads among 88,900,000 pages.It is www.future-club.org So I wasn`t in touch with SEO biz last 5 years and I am wondering shall I try again.
My question is since google brings the most of the traffic can I consider the results for that website for big achievement or it is nothing this days.

That's pretty impressive. Though Google dominates the web, getting traffic from Yahoo and MSN is still an accomplishment. How did you manage to get top ranking in Yahoo? I'm having a hard time ranking my site in Yahoo.

Getting a good ranking on Google might or might not be the same with Yahoo and MSN. They still have differences on how they rank sites for it's targeted keywords. If you can consider ranking on those 3 major search engine, then do it.

To get good rankings on Google it mostly comes down to trust and quality backlinks. Getting rankings in one search engine is never a guarantee that you will get rankings in other search engines. They each have their own algorithms placing more weight on different things. Usually there is one search engine which you can rank well on first and then the others follow if you build good links.

Today I am 1st page 1st result on google for:How to Improve My Website Traffic and my website is almost a month old

I am glad with it but I still couldn`t monetize my website which is normal.It is 4 weeks old
