Can Anyone Make Me between #1-20 On A MAJOR Search Engine

Hello, I own a great email service, that I believe could be the next Hotmail.com with a little advertising. My problem is I need to be listed on the search engine. When you type in my site name, a few results come up, including my page as number 1, but I would like to come up for a search term like free email, mail, email, e-mail, email accounts, ect.... in the #1-20 rankings. Is there anyone who is a professional and can help me do this? I do have money$ and would be willing to pay for help. Has anyone paid someone and got good results before? Thanks Kyle

those are very popular search terms and i doubt youll get in the top twenty for them

this doesnt mean you cant increase your se popularity though

webmaster-talk itself is on 2nd or 3rd in google and yahoo.

ive read a couple of articles before on getting ranked

yeah, it will be hard to get top 20 ranking for "email", but i think can get top 20 ranking and it will take a lot of time.

id have to disagree with this search term

there is no way that this site will push hotmail and yahoo off the top of the list for this term - we have to be realistic here

i agree with u that their is no way to drop hotmail and yahoo down, but atleast it is possible to get ranked on top 20 position.

top 20 is very helpful, even though that maybe, wiht a little work, he might get into the first page under hotmail or yahoo.

yes it is possible but i dont think its gonna happen

for a search term like that youll need hundreds of thousands of inbound links which is very unlikely that this site will get - no offense, my site wont get it either

also, i think its unlikely a site which does not have a net or com domain will reach this position

failing that domain names with email prominently there will do well..eg www.email.com etc

i see where your coming from but being realistic i would be very surprised if this was achieved

Like fonz said, it will be VERY tough with such a competitive search term, but you might eventually get in the top 20 for one of those keywords with a lot of work and tons of patience (free email, mail, email, e-mail, email accounts).

Meanwhile, submit to the big email address directories such as www.emailaddresses.com. I would also set up an affiliate program we pays for all new accounts created...

One way you might be able to boost your ranking is by emphasising that you offer POP3 and IMAP. These are the real features that will get people signing up because (as everyone else has pointed out) there are so many web based e-mail systems out there, and I don't think anyone (apart from me

) uses WAP.

You might be able to get top 20 for:
free imap email
or something like that.

or you could offer more web space

hotmail and yahoo etc are curbing the amount of memory and you could offer twice as much or something - obviously though more memory costs more money so its a bit of a catch 22

you need SEO. thats your first priority for your site. Realistically, if you want a top 20 ranking for such competitive keywords, the only realistic way to do it will be to get ALOT of links heading to your site.

For a top 20 ranking for those keywords, you're gonna need highly, professionally targetted optimisation on your site. you need to get the word out that you're offering free email accounts, advertise in any way you can basically. buy some banner ad space on ezine sites etc. somewhere very popular with people who use the internet alot - and thus could use another email address.

you're gonna need literally thousands of sites linking to yours, so no time like the present to approach basically anyone that will compliment your site.

arguably one of the best methods of increasing traffic fast is to write an article for an ezine. if you can get one written and sent out in an ezine with 2m subscribers, with a link to your site in your sig at the bottom, and you get a 1 in 100 click through on the link, then you get 20000 visits. say a further 1 in 100 signs up, thats 200 new signups from the one ezine. if they're happy, they'll recommend your site to other people.

you need :
sharp site design,
full, professional optimisation,
thousands of links to your site from others (takes a long time)
to advertise like crazy to anyone that will listen so that they know you're about - if no one knows who you are, its like busking in a railway tunnel, pointless.
