Uzuma has got the right idea...
I don't like to keep "3rd party" toolbars - they are spying on ALL your surfing and logging it and keeping a note. Sure they won't sell it to anyone, but hey - do you want google to know everything you EVER browse via http? Because if you have a toolbar installed, it's pretty easy for them to do that - maybe you need to opt in or something, but even if you don't, it's not like the data ISN'T logged - opt-in just changes "who" accesses it, I'd guess.
Toolbars are evil - used purely to watch browsers. You don't have to type anything into the toolbar. Just the fact that it's loaded up means it watches every page you surf (yep, even the porn! so google know what turns you on... do you really want that?)
