I agree with iamnothing that the 4 major se's are Google, Yahoo, MSN/Live and Ask

Yes theres a lot of search engines other than google, yahoo and msn like ask, altavista and different regional search engines.

You could consider adding you site link to the ODP - Open Directory Project. The ODP is maintained by human editors who evaluate sites for inclusion in the directory.
The ODP is not a search engine. But you can consider the ODP as part of your SEO strategy.
Make sure that your site follows the policy of the ODP closely. When you site has been accepted into the ODP your website will be listed at partner sites of the ODP too (AOL Search, Netscape Search, Yahoo Search, Google and many more).

Read the How to suggest a site to the Open Directory to find out for yourself if you website could be added or not.
