Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to find where your website/blog ranks for a certain keyword (assuming it is far enough back that you can't see it). My website recently got indexed by Yahoo and Google yet I can't find a way to see where I rank for certain keywords, and also I want one specific keyword: easy online money making, should I pack my homepage with references to this phrase? Thanks =)

Nope

To be pedantic, that's a phrase not a word, and it's a phrase that appears to get NO searches at all. So, why would you waste time and effort on a utterly useless phrase when there are thousands upon thousands of phrases that WILL bring traffic & conversions.

Checking ranking is a futile task as well, what you see is definitely NOT what others may see.

Well, I meant phrase . There are much better keywords such as "making money online" but those would be far far harder to get into the top 10 for as there are many sites that would like such phrases so I figure I might as well do my best to get results from some search term rather than none.

Sure, but getting ranking for a useless phrase is a bit like p***ing yourself whilst wearing black trousers ....

... You get a warm feeling and nobody will notice.

Do some word research at Wordtracker or KeywordDiscovery and use that as a seed, check your site logs or whatever you use as a stats package to see what phrases do turn up then expand on those.
