i'm new too the google thing and other web things so i dont know how long google has been around and if i should trust it or not. what do you young uns think about it

As a search engine I think it's pretty good. The best thing to do to help you decide whether to trust it is to use it to search for information you're interested in.

If you don't like it, there are others out there, the next biggest being Yahoo! and MSN.

This is exactly where a search engine like Google could help. If you go to Google's web site and type in msn you will get information about it.

Google has been around since the late 1990's. They became a publicly traded company in 2004.

Hi,

Google has been around since 1996 and started as a research project. I would just google alot, they provide of great services.

For anyone in the UK and have sky keep an eye on The Biography Channel, they have an interesting documentary/biography called The Google Boys, It covers the history and the how the search engine works as well as google Adsense/Ad words plus most of their other services.

You dont trust google, maybe worship it, pray for/to it. But trust it? Unfortunately you dont have an option there
