My PageRank is 12,654, as verified by DaveBob/seolman.
Who wants a PR12,654 link? Only $15,000,000! THINK OF THE SEO BENEFITS, PEOPLE!!!

pff, Those things only make money Chris.. They aren't as important as a little green bar and an out-of-date number between one and ten!

You are chasing something meaningless to enable yourself to get something worthless.
It's a bit like saving up belly button fluff so you can exchange it for nail clippings.

Denise, I don't think you understood Chris' question and the point behind it. External PageRank has no bearing on search engine rankings, sales, conversions, or anything other than creating a false marketplace among link buyers and sellers.

He wasn't asking about the significance of PageRank. He noted that some of his pages had new PR, and stated "I think Pr is updated" and wanted to know the status of others' sites as well.
I merely noted that the PR update is still ongoing. It may have finished for some webpages, but for others it hasn't finished yet.
Checking the datacenters is one way to see the status of a particular site; a mix of "old" and "new" PR values on the various datacenters indicates that the update hasn't yet finished. When it's finished the PR on all datacenters will match.
PR is one factor - of 100 or more - that goes into the SERPs. It is certainly not the most significant.
best,
Denise

No...the external PageRank update may or may not be ongoing (those of us who know better are paying no attention). This sounds like it's splitting hairs, but it really isn't. The external PR isn't the one that Google uses for ranking purposes, but as a rough indicator for webmasters.
Internal PageRank is the one that's used for ranking purposes, and it's updated on an ongoing basis.
Quite frankly, I wish they'd put the cat back in the bag.

Yes, I know the difference between the toolbar PR and the real, continuously-updated PR.
That doesn't change the fact that the toolbar PR export is in progress. And that is what the OP was referring to.
best,
Denise
