Hi people.
What META do I need more if I already have
<meta name ="keywords" content=" .......
and
<meta name ="description" content=" ....... ??
Check the source code of:
http://www.video-graphic.com/
I have the same META tags on each page of my site in 3 different languages.
Is it enough or should I add something?
It's my first web experience, so I don't know much about it.....
Thanks.

If you can make them unique to each page its going to be better but most people argue that
META KEYWORDS are almost obsolete
META DESCRIPTIONS are only displayed in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) but otherwise don't hold much Search engine optimization value ...
So don't worry much about them instead worry about unique/nice content to your site and nice/quality/relevant backlinks with appropriate anchor text in them

Do you have any example of "relevant backlinks with appropriate anchor text in them"? What do you mean?

Lets say that you want people to find you when searching for
"graphic video"
try to get backlinks from RELEVANT (if possible) sites and ask their webmasters to include this kind of link for you
<a href="http://www.video-graphic.com/">graphic video</a>
get as many backlinks as possible

I don't think the site need to be related, but otherwise, "experiment" gave you terrific advice. If, say, the BBC decided your site was important enough to link to, even though you aren't a news outlet, I think Google will see that as a very strong endorsement. It helps to get the links from sites that people who would like yours will already be on, so other sites about video and graphics will send you better qualified traffic.
Notice that xprmnt's latest blog post mentions how to get some links. You might want to visit his blog and investigate this.

Depending on your goals, you may want to add a robots tag to specify which pages should or should not be indexed, and/or which links should or should not be followed.
While not absolutely necessary, and certainly not full proof, many sites do add them for the sake of excluding certain hidden pages or what have you.

Keep in mind the days of adding mass amounts of meta keywords are almost gone, as xprmnt said, they are almost obsolete.

Strange I just received rejection from a directory, here is the text:
_______________
Hello,
This email is to inform you that your article directory has been rejected from
Directory Critic.
The reason your directory was rejected is:
"If you fix the problem with your directory you're more than welcome to resubmit"
it.
Regards,
The Critic

Video graphic
you must be REALLY new to all this
directory critic is a site that holds .... directories
if you have a directory ... then submitted there
Hint: your site http://www.video-graphic.com/ IS NOT a directory
So if YOU DON'T have a directory then just take a look at their list
and visit each directory and submit your site on each one of those directories
(but don't submit to the directory critic website, at most you can review a directory there)
I hope that is clear, if not post again

If you choose to use a keyword tag, the words/phrases should be kept to 10 or less.
Meta tags analysis.Title:Title relevancy to page content is terrible.
The Title relevancy to page content is 0%.
Description:Description relevancy to page content is terrible.
The Description relevancy to page content is 0%.
Keywords:Keyword relevancy to page content is terrible. However, this is not necessarily bad if you have a lot of content. The most important factor is to have your keywords on the page a few times.
The keywords relevancy to page content is 0%.
The issue here is you have no text.............there are workarounds for such pages that you should investigate. The Meta information for this page is not likely to be indexed properly for keyword or phrase queries. Google especially returns SERPs that are using relevant Titles and descriptions. Since you have no content on that page in the robots eyes, it can never be relevant. Search engines no longer allow you to use Meta information to tell them what search queries to index your pages for...they get this from your keyword density. But, no text, no density either.
Peace
Melanie

Oh. Bugger!
Thanks. I'll learn, little by little....
Anyway this is nothing compared to what I had to go through to make my photoshop sketch to become a site. That was really a nightmare!

and post relevant questions ....
A recommended book for SEO (search engine optimization) for newbies is "SEOBOOK" from aaron wall ... if you can get your hands on it then you'll learn a lot in a sort period of time.

Some says, some people are stupid in this topics, it's my opinion. I work as a SEO manager and in optimalization I must use a lot of phrases on description when I want my site to be very high in Google.
