For the last couple weeks I have noticed that every time I search on Google, the first result is usually the main thing I'm searching for, but the next 4 or 5 are always the same site with whatever I'm searching for added into the link.

Example...If I searched for "stuff" I would get the following as the 2nd result..."Finding STUFF is a Click Away at 2020Search.com"

I'm wondering if I have some spyware that spybot didn't catch or some sort of hijacker in my browser...Or...did google sell the 2 through 6 spot in their search engine??

Thanks!

No, spyware wouldn't do that.

It's probabally just a coinsedence.

Google doesn't sell space in the natural SERP's.

Hey thanks SEbasic...

I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I ran adaware immediately after running spybot, deleted a bunch of new crap it found, and now google is back to normal.

No idea what it was, but it sucked, cuz everytime I searched I would have to weed through the same ("SERP's"??) to get to the real stuff!

Thanks again! Wish I could expand on this!

It was probably that new Search890 toolbar with ad blocker (I forget the name of it) where they "unclutter" the ads at Google to make your search experience better. But they also provide you with better searches by placing editted and very relative ads from their partners in place of Google ads. But you do have the option of turning this feature off.

It is scumware.
