Can anyone explain to me this please.
when i do a link:site_url in google it tells me I have 21 sites linking to me
when i go to google webmaster tools it tells me I have near on 800 sites linking to me
Whats all that about then.
Do i only get score from the 21 or do the remainder have any influence?
Also i have dropped from PR5 to PR3 (not all in one go I may add) though my keywords remain intact and my listing rank remains intact too.
I recall it been mentioned that PR can bleed to sub pages should the right links be in place. I notice I now have a site with pretty much all pages been PR3 am I correct in assuming then that my adding of links to my homepage (which was PR5 now PR3) has risen my others pages PR?
Does this also mean that in future now that all my pages are equal (ish) in PR that they should all rise or fall together or is my imagination in overdrive.
And there I was thinking I had this all worked out.
