Sorry I'm a google PR newbie. I have a directory site www.webmasterdirect.net which has been running for all over a month now. I am indexed many times in google for different links. I have direct links on my site, from other sites that have PR, and they have direct links to my site. But I can't figure out why I don't have any google PR? It just keeps showing 0/10. Can someone point me to resource or explain to me what I'm doing wrong?
According to Google, you only have one back link showing in their list. It can sometimes take up to two month for a new site to gain pagerank but you still need to get many more links. Also in rare occasions if you bought an penalized domain (or expired domain) sometimes the site will NEVER get PR no matter how many links you get (I have had it happen to one site).
Try and get at least 10 more links from PR4+ pages and give it one more month. You should have some PR by then (you can also submit to our link exchange directory).
