Hi,

I'm a newbie at building web pages and search engines so please bear with me.

I built a small (6 page) website for a relation to try and advertise/sell a Moon Calendar that she produces. She already has a very old and simplistic site that she created herself.

I submitted mine to search engines about 1 week ago. On Friday night Google listed it. It had a reasonable rank for various search word combinations.

Now to the stupid part...I changed the front page to include the words Moon Calendar at the bottom of the page in large type. Also my relation linked her site to mine - although instead of a straightfoward link with target="_blank" she has the link in a frame: target="main"

Six hours later - I look at Google again and my website is no longer there. I've entered the full URL into the search box - nothing.

So, I removed the two words (in large type) that I added.

My listings in yahoo and MSN remain in place.

My question is what do I do now?
Will Google come back to me and give me a 2nd chance?
Am I banished forever?

My site is:
http://www.mooncalendar.me.uk/

My relations site is:
http://www.blueballpress.co.uk/

Any help very gratefully received

Your home page is indexed in google, I just did a search, I would expect that other pages will get indexed next time google comes by.

I realise it appears to be indexed - i did that check too.
What I'm saying is that when I entered keywords from my page into Google then my page appeared on the results that come back. Now - my page is nowhere to be seen. And, it is not just a case of the pages being ranked lower - any reference to my website has been wiped out.

For example - once Google had indexed my site if I keyed in "blue bell press moon calendar" Google came back with only one result in the world - my page - because those words (I guess) are unique to my site. Now google returns nothing. The same occures with other unique word combinations from my front page.

Also when I entered my url into the search bar I used to get my page as a result - now nothing. Reference to my website have definately been removed

I did a search for "The Blue Ball Press MOON CALENDAR" and bingo your site came up. I think what your seeing is google settling down with your page, what you need is incoming links from good websites that have the words blue ball press moon calendar in the anchor text. I think "moon calendar" is a pretty competative keyword so you'll need to work hard with keyword rich content and incoming links to move up in google. Hope this helps
