This is really stupid , but here is the situation :

I decide to build blog in June - http://blog.topdome.com/

At the beginning it was related to Linux,

perl

, javascript articles for about 2 weeks. Google crawled and included me into it's index , last cached results are retrieved on 25 Jun 2006.

However I decided to write about different content and started posting about SEO. Since then Google bot keeps visiting me , but new pages don't get indexed.

In other words Google plays like my blog does not exist ?!?

I have done many many many things to get it rolling - I am posting about SEO after all

but nothing seems to change

Other thing I noticed was the fact that my Google Site Map does not get Verified !
I am using the 'meta tag' verification method as my server returns status 200 OK for the error 404 page.

..and one more thing - I have Google Analytics and the code setup - it behaves like it is not installed !

It's probably just an issue of time. It takes a little while for Google to index a page and just because Googlebot visits doesn't mean the page gets indexed right away. Changing what you write about shouldn't make one difference to getting indexed.

The meta tags you have telling robots to revisit and index the page won't do anything. You only use those tags to tell them not to index the page. So there's no need for them.

I'm not sure why the page isn't validating. Webmaster Central allows a couple of different methods for validation so you might want to try one of the others and see if you have more luck.

Try getting some more links and thats the best way to get your site noticed.

If you are inclined to think that google is not crawling because of your content to SEO get out of those thinking and search for SEO related terms in google and you will see max results in that keywords
