Do you know how Google finds pages that are similar to site related:www.somedomain.com?

When you have links on the either site for the other site.

I see it's hard question how Google recognizes pages as similar. I noticed similar pages are not the same who have link to your site.

Its not who link to you but whom you link to as seen in majority of cases that I have observed.

I think, as SE crawler read the links in your site, the similar links on other sites may play a factor to decide on similar content. Also, phrases that are use may be a factor. It is just my guess.
