Hi,

I want to 'own' the keyword csharp, how woudl I go about doing this?

Should I ensure that all href tags have the text 'csharp' in them, or this doesn't really matter?

What are some top 10 things to do?

the keywork i'm looking for is c# or csharp.

Thanks!

If you start a site with a poor title and keywords in the meta tags, does this 'screw' you for a long time? If so, how long b4 google re-indexes the meta and title sections?

The time it takes for a particular search engine to reindex your site can vary greatly. Average is probably a few weeks for small sites. The larger sites are visited and indexed a lot more often.

It will take work to get in the top ten for the keyword csharp on Google. The things that you must have are good meta tags across all the pages of your web site. I recommend to have no more than 80 characters in your title tag, no more than 120 characters in your description tag, and no more than 120 characters in your keyword tag. Make sure you use the keyword "csharp" twice in your title tag, three times in your description tag, and once in your keyword tag. In your title, description, and keyword tag, the first word should be csharp because you want Google to read that word first when it spiders your web site. The next thing you need to do is try to get at least 200 to 250 words on your home page and use the keyword csharp roughly 3 percent of the time. Then you want to use the keyword csharp in the title of your links, but not too much because it can lead to spamming. Also try to put the keyword csharp in your alt tags. Another thing that you can do is to use headings on your web site and use the keyword csharp inside the heading, but make sure you do not repeat the same heading over and over. You also do not want to use more than 4 headings on your home page if it only has 250 words of text. This is a good start, after you do this you should email me and I can give you more advice.
