I was recently indexed on Google, and I am trying to increase my ranking. I was given some great advice and was told to change my "Page Title" which I just did, and then uploaded my new page to my site again. But when checking on google, and doing a search. I still see my old "page title" show in blue again. I it too late to change your page title, once you have already been indexed and included in google ?

It will just take Google and the other search engines a little while to reindex the page. Until they do you'll see the old title and description. How long it takes to update will depend on how often they spider your site. It could be a few days, a few weeks, or a few months. Mostly likely a few weeks. It's ok to change the title though. Just be patient and in time you'll see the new one.

forum you are on. Are you on the Webmaster.talk forum mostly or other ? I like to go to different forums, you find
great people like you on many of them with great advice and help. I will wait till they reindex my title page. Since than, I have made some changes to my website but it is still under
construction. I have added a suggest to your friend button,

Glad to help. I do post mainly on this site and one small business forum. I joined each about the same time though I post here a little more often. I also read a few seo forums regularly, but don't post to them at the moment, mostly because I spend enough time already psoting to the two. I'll probably pick one of the seo forums and begin posting before too long there as well.

Also you can increase how often and how fast the spyders index your site by updateding on a regular bases. The spyders will notice how ofter your website is being updated and will put your website higher on there priority list. Also how many times you referance a keyword on your website. LIke my site. At the time when I was heavy into EQ2. I would update 1-2 times a day with new screenshots and posting news about the screenshots and my travels in the game. With all the referancing EQ2 and the constent updates I was getting reindexed once a day for about the 1st two months the game was out.
