Only available for selected gmail users.

I saw that earlier today. One thing to keep in mind is that the site is under the Google domain so if you're planning on a business site it's best to look elsewhere. Owning that domain is going to be important for a business.

It seems now they restricted this due to the high demand. Eventhough ti have a gmail account, they said try later on.

Agree with vangogh - it can't be used for business sites. Also - you can end up with broken links - make a link to a page, then delete the page... The space they offer is up to 100MB for pages and files.

This seems like it will be a good thing for creating personal websites and I would imagine over time Google will improve the system. It seems though everyone lately is putting up some kind of site creator.

None of them that I'm aware of at the moment would create a decent site for business.

It's cool. I have blogger. I don't have gmail just groups. I don't think I will give up letmewipemykidsoffyourchin@yahoo.com just yet.

Cool find, it seems Google's competing with Yahoo's portal reputation a lot faster than Yahoo's competing with Google's search reputation

Finally, the wait is over. Google launched another Google Labs project, the Google Page Creator.

Gogole Page Creator is a free web hosting service for non-technical persons to create their websites in WYSIWYG mode. Advance user has option to edit pages in HTML mode, though.

Each Google Page Creator account is given 100MB storage space and unknown data transfer bandwidth.

Guess What? You van have Proffesional Webpages! Throw that page maker!
What you do is make an "Click here to Enter" site in the maker then link it to a uploaded html, htm, Etc! That is what I do!

Google started to do lots of things which they shouldn't do. I heard a new service every week from Google. dating calendar page creator.... etc. Their work principle looks like Microsofts. Touch every sector. We will see what they will gone do with these services
