Banned for good?

Hi,

Do you think a site that is visited by googlebot and there are visits from Google Images is banned? Website is not indexed by google.

Banned/penalised websites are rare, and the owner operator will know why it is banned or penalised.

It could be a number of things that cause a site to be not indexed.

operator rather don't know why penalised or banned, that's why want to find out, anyway thanks for reply

assuming you are the operator, and you have done nothing to trick the SEs it's highly unlikely that the site is penalised or banned.
However without a url to look at it's impossible to say for sure.

As Chris said, you'd know about it... unless you brought a really dodgy site...

Most likely is that your site just hasn't been (fully) indexed yet - you need inbound links to be found. Even if "Googlebot" has been, you won't be added instantly.

No, it is online since November 2001.

Last year was a 302 redirection from other shopping site which I never ask to exchange link. For details [http://www.webmaster-talk.com/google...irection.html]. As I said google images indexing and have some visits, but not from google search. Googlebot still visiting, so there is a little hope
