Hey there. I was just wondering, when I go to google images and type in my band name I get zero pictures related to my band, even though I have many on my website (top in the main google search) and they all have names directly related to the bands name.

Is there anyway I can increase the results? Perhaps by adding more pics to free image hosting sites or something?

I know its a bit of an amature quesiton but we all have to learn from somewhere...

Thanks!

many things appear to affect Googles image search, the least of which is the filename.

Title of the page the image is on, Alt attribute text, Anchor text and the surrounding text appear to be favourite.

alt="text" was invented (i believe) to describe to people using text based browsers what the image that is there looks like, as they can't see it.

So i would guess this would be an important factor google use when deciding what a picture is of.
