how do you tell if your website have been crawled by google?

what can i do to show me whether or not i've been crawled? is there a file on my server or anywhere else? this i really need to know.

Please reply as my Website was ranked 4 in google Ranking few days back and now after 24th November 2005, suddenly my website disappeared from Google Search.

We have even submitted our websites's SITE Map to Google, i just want to Confirm it shud crawl my Website this time,. does it create any list of Websites where its going to Crawl, what has to be done to update this List?

Is it a new site? because this would be perfectly normal.

My website is OLd, not a new one, Few days back before 24NOV, it was having a good ranking and first on many keywords, but now its not even detecting my Website.

i found that my Website has been cached on 6th Dec, also i have submitted this to GOOGLE SITEMAPS , there its not showing any error.

I dont know Why my website is not getting searched in Google? Please help

What's the website?

Google crawls constantly, and if you want it to crawl your site, you should have some backlinks from other sites to it.

The quickest and easiest way to get backlinks an SE will crawl is to add them to the signature of any forum posts you make. Depending on how quickly the forum is indexed, your signature links should be crawled and (re)indexed within 24-48 hours.

As far as not ranking goes, this would depend on your site and the circumstances surrounding it.
