If you don't want to wait a few days (or weeks) for the google bots to come to your site and index it... here is a simple way to do it instantly.

Go to http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl and add your url
Then
Go to the google website (www.google.com).

Type in your full url like http://www.onebillionviews.com and press search.

When you get to the result screen saying it can't find your website, it will also state something like :Try to click on the link directly (and will provide the link to your site there).

Click on that link and voila!

Your site is indexed by google!

Go back to the google search and search for the same url you searched before and you will see it has been indexed!

Hey fellow pixeler, that didn't work for me. I just tried it with one of my brand-new sites, but no success (yet). Are you sure this trick works (instantly)?

I've done some testing on this in the past (10 new domain - five submitted manually, five linked from other sites or various rank) and the results we got were that manually submitting got results considerably slower in each case.

It was a pretty limited test - with just 10 domains - and I don't think manually submitting hurts, but much better to get linked from other sites. Can't see any harm in doing both, although I did not specifically check for this.

OP sorry but that realy would not work ok it might work for some but not that many maybe 1 in 100

right here is some of my info on getting indexed in google fast and even in 24 hours

one thing you shouldnt do as i have noticed one of the other posters have said this or somthing about it

never submit your url to the google submit page yes its slows things down alot

now this is what does work some say it dosnt but every one has there own way but thi i have tryed and this is what i do so i know it works

right with your new domain you should look for a top page website in google with the main keyword you will be using on your website for that domain name

once you have found a website then check to see what backlinks that website has then start checking for PR yes PR you want to find ones with a page rank of 5 or higher as that will work best so once you have found some see if they have link pages now you will need to swop or ask them to swop links thats it

now this is how to get index in 24 hours this is the info

if you manige to get 1 PR 5 then you will get indexed in google within 3 days and if you get 1 PR 6 you will get indexed in 24 hours

ok well thats it this does work and very very well but i know how hard it is to get links on high page rank websites now i have a website with a PR 4 and i just use that i get my domains indexed in about 5 days

The above is good, but assumes that people authorise the link exchanges quickly.

Build up a good portfolio page with strong PR. You can then link to you new sites straight away and have the same result. In the longer term the on-topic stuff will do you more good, but if the aim is just to get indexed then this works well.

The fastest way to get google to your new website is quite simply getting a link on a page with decent PageRank. Using the addurl feature at G has always been a hit or miss option, and is not really reliable. Google is known for hating sites which it sees as orphans, meaning no inbound links, so again, the best way is still a solid link or 10.

I don't think so! Why don't you supply to Google with your sitemap?

Step 1: make sitemap with sitemap creator or online sitemap creator (free creator)

- You will get a xml file (sitemap.xml)

Step 2: go to Google addurl page and submit xml sitemap.

I was waitting for only 24hrs. Go to google search page to check my site, it's there. He he.

I'm not getting the "Try to click on the link directly " ... what's going on. Am I getting a different error than yours?!!
