After my clients website sat with a standard GoDaddy "coming soon" page for two years I changed it to what is now an impressive site (well I think so). Anyhow it has been listed with google as a link w/out a description (search for krungstock) for 2 or 3 months now. I would really like it if google indexed it like Yahoo & MSN have.

To help my listing I have created a google sitemap (http://www.krungstock.com/sitemap.xml) almost a month ago but still no luck.

The only problem I can see with my approach is the permanent redirect (302 or 303) I am using on the /index.php page to send the user to /s/index.php?main_page=index however I have looked this up and no one has mentioned that they have a problem plus yahoo and MSN have no problem.


Any recommendations?

permanent redirect (302 or 303)

Use 301 instead. Its recommended by Google. Also if you can do some mod rewrite to avoid the parameters that will be helpful.

Also looking at your HTML

Some of the metas are very much unnecessary. specially

<meta name="revisit-after" content="5 days">

It restricts the bot for 5 days rather than inviting them after 5 days.

maybe your site mgarde is still in the sandbox! BTW how old is your site?

It has been online for 4 months now...of course there have been changes but there has been actual content there for 4 months
