How they got PR 7 ?

I found that http://www.bedndine.com got PR 7 from google. When I try with link:http://www.bedndine.com it displays lots of unrelated sites and this site also a new one. How can they achive such a status with lot of unrelated stuff?

Yeah you are right
They have junk back links
Will have to contact the admin of that site and know what he does.

Maybe they frequently update their content. I've heard a lot of seo experts claim to achieve high pr on content updating alone...

PR does not depend on the relevancy of links but SERP does.

Very much rumour. PR formula has the calculation of backlinks and only backlinks with a damping factor and no of outbound links and nothing to do with content.

I don't think they are changing the content frequently, As I remember they have the same page few months ago also.

Ive seen sites like this before in the serps, backlinks on any site (not Banned) will help increase the overall PR i think, but good links on relevant sites will help the SERPS position.

ive got a site with very few backlinks that is a pr 7. when are people going to realize that PR is just a random number.

Maybe cuz PageRank is calculated based on the PR of the incoming link, not it's subject matter.

Check it out on backlinkcheck.com and you can see the PR of all the sites linking to them. I'm seeing a lot of PR3's.

I don't trust that site's tool or most similiar.

Google shows over 2,500 backlinks for them and Google only shows a small sample. They might have 25,000 BLs for all we know.

You say that you see a lot of PR3s as if PR3s are not too good.

Did you know that 3,361 backlinks from PR3 pages with no more than ten outgoing links can earn a PR7?

And that's with no other backlinks being considered.

(calculated on a logarithmic base of 5.5 and 85% of median PR passed)

I don't think your right, i think it's basiced on the amounts of inbound links and Outbound link, and removes affilation and Link backs.
I also think that there more to PR then just links heading to your site.
