My google rank for www.BetterCalls.com used to be 5 and now its a 2. The amount of links havent changed.

My rank for www.AIMaddict.com used to be 2 and now it is 0. Ive been trading links with aim sites, but it still wont effect my google rank. Do you think google blacklisted my sites? If so, why would they do that?

A 0 can sometimes mean it has been penalized but I don't see anything spammy on the site. If it is a new site, I would not panick yet, and see what happens after the next update. Google may have just found no backlinks to that site and your PR is between 0-1 (which would show a zero).

A lot of people's PR dropped after the last update. Seems Google tweaked its PR algorithm to try and make it a little harder to get to the higher Page Ranks.

Also, Doing a search for link:www.bettercalls.com shows 0 backlinks.

Google will only show backlinks that are usually PR4 or higher.

I show very little total sites containing the URL www.bettercalls.com on them (only 11). The Pagerank of these backlinks to you are also very low, which probably is why you ended up with a 2 and the links don't show when searching for link:bettercalls.com

Ya, that makes sense. I understand BetterCalls going from 5 to a 2, because there are less sites linking to it now. But I started aimaddict in february and by march it had a rank of 2. Its been gaining links, so i assumed it would increase the page rank, not make it 0.

my site, www.maldivescards.com also had a PR 6 before the last update, but now its PR 5 and the backlinks amount has been drop a little.

My site has been accepted at dmoz.org and during the last update of google my site has been listed in google directory.

I heard the google delists expired domains, so that people dont redirect the traffic. Do you think that is why my site isnt being ranked by google?

google is being extremely weird lately, most people know that google is having some problems this month. This type of thing is happening to alot of people! You are not alone! It sould be ok again soon, stick in there.
