On my site, i get traffic ok. I keep my site updated all the time. So what am i doing wrong? im just tryin to get get 1/10 PR thats all i want.

is your site new to google?
If so then you will have to wait until google next updates page rank.

1/10 is terrible, I would prefer to be unranked than have 1/10.

the PR value for the google bar is no big deal. GET BACKLINKS... thats what you want!

I'm having a similar problem. I haven't recieved any pagerank and my site has been live for 2 months. I have been linking everyday.

This may be a stupid question, but what is linking by triangle?

Toolbar PR is only updated occasionally.

triangle linking or three way is just another scheme for link exchange A links to B, B links to C, C links to A. In the mistaken belief that it won't be discovered and devalued, penalised or banned.

does the Googlebot visit your site?
do you get any traffic from Google?
do you rank for any keyphrases? Although it's a bit soon for that.

if you can answer yes to one or more of those then stop looking at the stupid green bar. The toolbar PR display is not accurate, not up to date and means nothing in terms or being found for your keyphrases. It's not important you could have a willy-waving PR9 and if your site doesn't convert it means absolutely nothing. Turn it off and do something that will benefit your visitors and conversions.

It's a simple premise. Make a good site that people will link to naturally and REAL PR will follow.

Another key is your desired keywords. Does your title tags and descriptions work well for your site, do they produce the desired visitors, are they done correctly? Check out some of our Meta Tag Articles for some great info. Hope this helps and it does take time along with effort.

Page Rank can still be important for obtaining incoming links. Some people (not me) still value a high page rank site and will exchange links purely because your site has a high PR. That will help your site within Google Keyword Rankings.
