Google Problems

OK search goole for the following type exacly what is in quotes: "site:megars.illusionfxnet.com/mrs" see all of those pages with no description! What did i do wrong?

Actually, nothing...you were just to specific. Google is a search engine without a brain.

However if you want to find something specific and ask a question, use AskJeeves and a possible way to phrase that might be:

Where can I find information on "site:megars.illusionfxnet.com/mrs"? You might still come up blank.

What exactly ARE you looking for anyway? Liz

If anything appears just on link and you do not have anything related to it like Description and or title that means that google has found the link to your pages but have not crawled it to completion.

A description will usually appear within a couple of weeks of the site being found.

Umm, im not sure i understand, i ahve a description on the on the page. I have the meta tags. I think the description is needed for the customized google search. I am tryign to out it on my site and it says i don't ahve any pages indexed. How can i fix my problem?

Well the pages are partially indexed in Google, wait for some time... your descrption will soon appear

Question, this may not give you anything:

But try it THIS way instead and see what happens:

"megars.illusionfxnet.com/mrs"

If it still is an issue, did you use index.htm or html or php for your home page? That needs to be at the end of the url of your main page. megars.illusionfxnet.comshould show up.

Example, my site is registed as www.prioritycomputers.net and my home page is saved as index.html, which allows the whole site to be seen. If you put your mouse over the rest of my links, you will see the .html at the end of each one. If you went to one of the links, and then highlighted the home page the same way, it shows up as www.prioritycomputers.net/index.html

My site uses the format index.php?pg=blah for my pages, i just wante dot make sure that didn't affect google. oK i will wait, hopefully it worn't take a few more months (site hjas been up for a couple of months, well the new version anyway)
